A viral video was spread around April 20th about an irate customer ranting in a mall office about a security guard double checking his belongings and that the security guard allegedly talks back at the customer, after calling him "incompetent" in public.
The "UP Graduate" customer was pointing out that he was the one embarrassed in public when the security guard "steps out of his booth" and says "Wala kang karapatan sigawan ako (you have no right to shout out me)". After "double checking" the customer with another guard, the security guard says that he was trying to make the customer calm down because he was making a fuss about the situation.
When they got to the customer service office he the customer was already irate and as the security guard defends himself he was asking the customer to cease the finger pointing because it wasn't right.
"Di ako pinagaral ng nanay ko para bastusin ng isang tulad mo (I wasn't raised and educated to be treated like this with the likes of you)", the security guard says in defense.
The customer was insulted with his statement, "tulad ko (likes of you", pointing out to everyone in the room that he went to UP Diliman, asking him "saan ka nagaral?" (comparing his education background to the security guard).
It has been given comments by the netizen all over social media, stating there opinion about the incident and mostly it was against the UP Diliman Graduate.
