Alvin Shai Roberts, residing in California, finds a skin-haired-substance in his Corned Beef and reports this to Purefoods. He didn't exactly got the service he wanted so he posted this on Facebook to warn Filipino consumers.

Yesterday at 5:07 p.m., Alvin Shai Roberts posted on Facebook an article with 4 photos about the product that he was complaining about. He stated that he and his wife had this horrible experience just this January 22. His parents was said to have had a short visit in the Philippines last December 2014 and brought a can of Purefoods Corned Beef with them and gave it to their son, back in the U.S.

It was January 22 when they cooked it and eventually noticing the unidentified object. "My wife unfortunately ate half of the contents before I discovered what came with it", Roberts said.

They complained to Purefoods customer service about this matter and the Purefoods office initially responded, unfortunately they said that Roberts was too far for them to send an investigator to handle the matter and examine the said product.

Alvin Shair Roberts said on his post, "The only thing that they did for me was to ASSURE me that this is just a part of the skin of a cow (YES- just by looking at the pictures. . .)"

As the Filipino-American complains about the product, he stated his disappointment with the service that he was given, he even mentioned that he will share the pictures in Facebook if they do not comply about the unsanitary issue.

This post was said to be urged by his cousins in the Philippines, who was also concerned about the matter.

He followed up with Purefoods several times and he didn't get any response about the complain.
