Tekken 7's Josie Rizal to be deleted?

The Tekken series is widely known for it's unique fighting style in gaming, and also is vast character pool which has certain individual ethnicity. It has the selection of American, Asian, European, Latin and Russian characters.
It has been announced that the game developers of the Tekken series is making the very first Filipino character in the franchise. Which brings controversy for the netizens and the filipino community.
Katsuhiro Harada, creator of the Tekken series says if the government (NCCA) pushes for the name change of the new and soon to be developed Tekken character, Josie Rizal, the first filipino character in the franchise, he will "delete" her.
Josie Rizal, the new Tekken character is for the Filipino Tekken fans, the gaming community that supported the Tekken series for how many years.
Harada said in an earlier statement that Josie is special for the Filipino fans and if the said Tekken character does not get full support from the Filipino themselves, the Tekken developers would simply delete Josie Rizal.
That being said, Katsuhiro Harada happily mentions that he got about 90 percent positive feedback from the Tekken gaming community and the Filipino fans on Josie Rizal.
A small percentage of the netizens does not approve of the character's name, saying that it is derived from the national hero of the Philippines, Jose Rizal, and it will tarnish it's name and reputation.
The National Commision on Culture and the Arts or NCCA said that it had no official stand on the events of the controversial Tekken character and that they would release an official statement but they would need to consult the National Historical Commision of the Philippines, all said on thursday.
