Vin Diesel, star of the Fast and the Furious film series, announces on Saturday that he wants to shoot Furious 8 in the Philippines.
Furious fans may find this interesting because they are planning to shoot in Manila, specifically EDSA - the busiest highway in the Philippines.Some may consider this a rough choice because of the heavy traffic that's often seen here.
If you're a fan of the film "Bourne Legacy" you'd notice the car chase scene there was taken place in EDSA highway.
Vin Diesel visited the Philippines before, it was May 2013, and said "I just love the Philippines and I want to shoot Furious 8 there". Vin has a Filipino sister-in-law. He also admires the famous jeeps of the Philippines.
It's confirmed that Furious 8 is definitely happening, said Vin Diesel. And it's not that whether Furious 8 is happening but how will the series continue after the death of Paul Walker.
It is yet to be expected since that Vin Diesel gave a statement on an interview in a tent on Dodge Stadium saying he wants to shoot some race scenes in Manila.
